If you have come to this page to learn more about coaching, welcome - I'm very glad that you are here and always happy to answer any questions you have too so please dont hesitate to get touch if you need to know anything further after going through the information available.

I’m Kristine and, in a nutshell, I've had a passion for health and wellbeing for as long as I can remember. Initially interested in psychology of the mind and talking therapies, I later realized that total wellness needs a multifaceted approach as our mind, body and spirit are really one unit which all need nurture for a truly balanced life and my work is now based around this principle.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to be that best version of themselves and getting there doesn't need to be complicated; taking a few moments to breathe, educationg yourself and receiving a little bit of support can go a long way.  If my approach resonates with you and you want to learn more, please read through the most frequently asked questions at the bottom of this page and get in touch for booking your session when you are ready.

What is coaching?

In a nutshell, coaching means being supported in your development. It can be immensely powerful in helping you meet your goals as well as provide clarity on what you actually want to achieve. Coaching is practical and results focused, working with the strengths and weaknesses of each individual person. Similar to the coaching received by athletes, the role of a coach is not to push a person to achieve goals but to provide them with the tools and support to allow them to get there on their own. The potential and strength already resides within the individuals; the role of the coach is simply to support bringing it to the surface.

Why take part in a coaching program?

The ultimate goal of coaching offered by me is to provide you with the tools to reach and maintain holistic wellness but people also choose to work with coaches for a variety of specific reasons; some of these may include:

  • To become calmer, happier, and/or content in life

  • To support rehabilitation after an injury or illness

  • To stay on track with health and fitness goals

  • To better understand themselves and live a more authentic life

  • To overcome feeling stuck

  • To gain clarity about questions regarding employment or relationships

Having a personal coach means that you have additional support in going the way you truly wish in a world that may be driving you in another direction. Most people are good intentioned and want to be healthy and well but find it difficult to stick to a good routine, especially in the beginning stages and a little bit of support can go a long way in making lasting lifestyle changes. By working with me you will have someone to motivate you as well as keep you accountable alongside receiving a host of practical tools. I also only ever work with a maximum of 5 people at a time to ensure that I can keep full focus on those I do work with.

What can I expect from the coaching sessions?

This will depend on the type of support you need.  One off coaching sessions are one hour long and will usually focus on identifying your issues and/or goals and deciding on a practical approach to reach the desired outcomes. Upon completion of the session you will receive an overview of the discussion and an agreed plan of action to implement.  Similarly, the two-week program includes two hour-long sessions, one in the beginning and one in the end of the two weeks. As before, you will receive an overview of the discussion had and an agreed plan of action with an addition of regular check-in’s and support via e-mail should you need it.

My approach is gentle and will include a host of practical tools depending on your requirements and circumstances.  These may include assistance with designing individual yoga routines, meal plans, meditation techniques, and exercise plans as well as potentially learning appropriate breathing exercises .
